Description
Impala Fungicide
Active Ingredients: Azoxystrobin @ 96g/L & Triticonazole @ 194g/L
Impala Fungicide combines a dual systemic action to provide broad spectrum control of over 10 fungal diseases in turf. Impala Fungicide is an effective combination of two fungicides (Azoxystrobin and Triticonazole) to prevent and control diseases in turf and lawns. Impala’s two active constituents work outside and inside the plant, helping prevent early fungal infection and establishing disease control, controlling all life cycle stages of turf diseases.
Impala Fungicide is protective & curative with dual systemic activity (both active constituents), killing disease & giving systemic plant protection for broad-spectrum control of over 10 major turf diseases including;
- Anthracnose (Colletotrichum graminicola),
- Brown Patch [leaf, crown & root] (Rhizoctonia solani),
- Dollar Spot (Sclerotinia homoeocarpe, Clarireedia homoeocarpa),
- Fairy Ring (Basidiomycetes spp.),
- Fusarium (Fusarium nivale, Microdochium nivale),
- Grey Leaf Spot (Pyricularia grisea),
- Helminthosporium Disease (Bipolaris spp, Drechslera spp, Exserohilum spp),
- Pythium Leaf Blight, Pythium Root Rot, Seedling Damping Off (Pythium spp),
- Take-All Patch (Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae)
Ectotrophic Root Infecting Fungi (ERI) [Autumn strategy]
- Spring Dead Spot (Ophiosphaerella narmari),
- Take-all Patch (Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae)
Ectotrophic Root Infecting Fungi (ERI) [Spring and Summer strategy]
- Couchgrass Decline (Gaeumannomyces graminis var. graminis),
- Take-all Patch (Gaeumannomyces graminis var. avenae)
Impala Fungicide is a Liquid SC (Suspension Concentrate) that contains the dual active ingredients triticonazole and azoxystrobin.
Why is Azoxystrobin important;
- Azoxystrobin is a xylem systemic fungicide that delivers excellent protection for up to 28 days against a wide spectrum of turf diseases.Â
- Azoxystrobin is absorbed by the leaves and crowns of the plant, mostly within 24-48 hours of treatment.Â
- Absorption through roots (after application to the root zone) normally happens over time and is facilitated by soil moisture.Â
- It is transported acropetally (upwards) in the xylem.Â
- This combination of systemic translocation and translaminar movement contributes to the even distribution and longevity of the active ingredient within the plant tissue.
Why is Triticonazole important;
- Triticonazole is absorbed by the leaf, crown and roots.Â
- Acropetal penetrant provides both contact and upward systemic activity (Xylem systemic – moves upwards in the xylem).Â
- The Triticonazole contained in Impala Fungicide is both protective and curative as well as having contact and xylem systemic properties.Â
